Haiku my heart - Drama Queen

Such a drama queen
emotion crowned tantrum bound
spilling everywhere

I started today with my daughter deciding to use the flat screen tv as the basis for her newest crayola masterpiece.  I ended the day realizing that my son probably has a fever.  Sandwiched between these two experiences was a not so fun work day.  I came home to a disheveled home, loads of laundry, and nothing for dinner.  I have a headache.  My back hurts.  My hair is falling out.  (okay, that is because I am still breastfeeding- but it still pretty much sucks.)
So, I am having my adult tantrum here on Haiku Friday.  (And I wonder where my daughter gets it from).
This was the only picture I could find in my archive that seemed to match my emotional state. (I wonder how many people have ever photographed themselves in a faux tantrum- didn't I have a picture of my daughter in a fake pout last week?)  I hope everyone else is faring better than I have in the last twenty four hours.  (Okay and I used a little artistic license with crowned... it is really two syllables, but it just felt better than crown).

Does anyone know how to get crayon off an LCD screen?

As always, for more Haiku Fridays

Okay, so I stopped chanting Caya Papaya Caya Papaya repeatedly when I found out you are having a bad day. Wish I knew how to help you with the crayola on the screen. As an old retired guy, I could do more aroundnhere while the other adults work, but I do have dinner ready most nights.
Hang in there, things will change, they always do. And I think a little drama in our lives is fine.

Peace, and good positive thoughts and energy sent your way

In my hearing 'crowned' is only one syllable.
But that is the least of your problems :-)

sounds like mama needs a chair, a glass of water, and a baby sitter...i hope there is relief soon...i would try a soft cloth with the tiniest bit of rubbing alcohol on the crayon...that is what i used to get oil pastel off my scanner bed...but LCD may be different...good luck to you...

oh dear . . . what a day! I do think a glass of wine is in order and then maybe rubbing alcohol to remove the marks?

Someone else that had that problem said a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser used gently did the trick.

I am so sorry that your day was so difficult, that work was hard on top of it and that there was no one there for you at the end of it all to make it easier and lighter with a nice warm meal and a glass of wine. Quite honestly, 20 minutes of meditation in a quiet room and then a hot bath will make you feel better than a glass of wine ever could but failing that, wine probably will do the trick. I hope tomorrow is much better for you.

Noelle

Big hugs to you. I'm sorry that I'm not sure how to remove the crayon - maybe there is something online that you can find. The haiku and photo are beautiful and stark - beauty in the midst of chaos. Try to have a restful weekend - I hope your son feels better very soon. Theresa
