In searching for a haiku picture today- I found this picture in my archive. I think I was in my early thirties. I don't remember taking this picture at all. I thought it was funny- especially since I wonder about where my daughter gets her theatricality from. When I was in my twenties one of my favorite things to do was to set up my tripod, get dressed up in outlandish costumes and take pictures. I can't imagine doings such a thing today. When someone shows up with a camera, I hide. In 11 days, I will be celebrating my birthday. I think maybe this year, I will try to get over my recent fear of cameras and spend some time playing dress up with my daughter.

This is a wonderful photo of you. Your hair is not a tangle but a glorious crown of beauty. You have a beautiful little girl by the way. I see her picture in your next post. Isn't it strange when we remember and nod to the people we used to be? I just read that you are a therapist. I am studying to be one, just finishing my thesis and then the long 3,000 hours of internship. Would love to talk some time.

This is great! The photo so goes with the Caya Papaya name! Can't wait to see the dress-up party. I notice you didn't mention how old you'll be on this next birthday, but you referenced to being in your 30's when you had that wonderful fiery red flyaway hair. Just beautiful.
Good fun stuff!
Peace.
Fun photo. I agree with Spadoman that I can't wait to see the dress-up party. :)
this picture truly does "connect the dots" between mother and daughter!!
YES for the dress up party!! take lots of photos.
such a fiery crown on a flaming heart!
love you!
dressing up. what fun but i too have not done it for years. Perhaps we all should post a dress-up picture!
Hair ablaze, flying through the air for the sheer joy of it – that's what this image says to me. A gentle nudge from the past to celebrate freedom of spirit in the now.
Fantastic!

Deann -- this is a wonderful reminder that we females have all got wild women somewhere inside.
That is such a gorgeous photo! I have become quite camera-phobic, too. My birthday is in 4 days - perhaps I'll try and become a bit less fearful of the camera. Theresa
